Wild Yarnbala

IMMERSE IN NATURE

Step into one of South Australia’s last remaining untouched grassy she-oak woodlands — an opportunity to reconnect, gain a deeper understanding of this region’s unique natural character

Guided by a lifelong local custodian, this immersive and intimate tour takes place in a critically endangered ecosystem — a rare patch of ancient woodland unique to the South Australia.

This is not your average tour. Wild Yarnbala is a bespoke, personlised experience led by Founder of Yarnbala, Kane Slater, tailored to the season and the ever-changing rhythms of nature. No two visits are ever the same.

This immersive journey invites you to slow down, engage all your senses, and experience the richness of country — as it once was.

Observe endemic native flora & fauna including Heath goannas Diamond Fire tail Finch and — during cooler months — the vulnerable Western Pygmy Possum, one of Australia’s cutest marsupials

Relax at Yarnbala’s famous central meeting place, artistically designed from recycled materials and centred around the family camp fire

Enjoy the option to purchase a glass of locally crafted Coffin Bay Gin infused with handpicked botanicals, or choose from a selection of South Australia’s wines and craft beers
